News and Updates Aug. 19, 2008 This past Saturday, we spent the whole day in the recording studio. We laid down the rhythm parts for 3, new and all original songs. We are very excited about the new songs and releasing a full cd of our own material. I also updated the calendar through October. July 31, 2008 Be sure to catch us for a free concert Tues. night (8.5.08) in Strasburg, VA. Monster Energy Drink will be there handing out samples of their many different flavors. You don’t want to miss it! July 3, 2008 Updated the calendar July 3, 2008 The calendar is now updated through the end of August. Next Saturday, July 12th, we will be playing at The Bunker in Leesburg, NOT the Big Arm. June 23, 2008 We are happy to announce a new partnership with Monster Energy Drink. They will be at our show Wednesday in Berryville handing out free drinks and supplying us with more to share at future shows. June 4, 2008 We will NOT be playing at the Big Arm this Friday night. Sorry for the inconvenience and the late notice. June 2, 2008 To make a long story short, the wedding we were supposed to play on Saturday is no longer going to be a wedding. All I know is that we’re now playing at Sweet Carolines in Winchester. May 29, 2008 The calendar is finally up to date through the end of July. (sorry for the delay) In other news, we’re heading into the studio to work on our first, 100% original c.d. We hope to get it done by the end of the year, but finding the time is our biggest obstacle. Stay tuned! April 24, 2008 This Saturday is the grand opening party of the Big Arm in Charles Town, WV Seats are filling up quick so get yours now. April 1, 2008 Updated the calendar. March 2, 2008 Version 2008.1 of the website is finally up! I’ve been meaning to do a overhaul for some time now. If you visit regularly, you’ll notice a few changes; the most noticeable is the added menu up top. I condensed the photos in with the media and added all of the links at the bottom of each page. I hope you like it. I will try and keep this site fresh and up to date so it doesn’t become too mundane. Feb. 11, 2008 A last second gig was added this Saturday, February 16th at the Rocktown Grill in Harrisonburg, Va. Bring your sweetheart(s) out and celebrate a late Valentine’s Day with us! Also, after months of legal papers, forms, emails, etc...the name Souled Out® is finally a registered trademark. Jan. 28, 2008 Thanks to everyone for coming out to Sweet Carolines over the weekend. Although still under the same ownership, they recently had a change in personnel. It’s still the same place, same good food but now with a more customer friendly atmosphere. To those of you that said you didn’t like the service, we challenge you to give it another shot! I also it updated the calendar through the month of April. Jan. 10, 2008 IMPORTANT!!!!!! IMPORTANT!!!!!!! Jan. 10, 2008 We’d like to apologize for the inconvenience of the site being down for the past week or so. We are in the process of possibly changing webhosts and that has caused a few speed bumps along the way. If by chance is goes down again in the near future, you can always find our info on our MYSPACE page. Dec. 14, 2007 It’s been over a month since the last update and I’d like to apologize. We have been going through some troubles with the company that hosts the site. At first, the whole site was down for a week, then our access to the site was down for an additional 2 weeks. That means we have been unable to do any kind of an update for a total of 3 weeks. Everything seems to be working now and that means I can stop my daily phone call to the company. In other news, the calendar is up to date and that is about it! (shamless plug...Matthew is selling 2008 calendars of his photography) Nov. 13, 2007 New dates have been added through the month of February. Oct. 23, 2007 There is a correction on the calendar. The Nov. 2nd gig at Ned Devine’s is at the Centreville location and not at the one in Herndon. Oct. 10, 2007 New dates added on the calendar. Also, we updated our business cards, so make sure you get one at our next show. I also added links to our MySpace page throughout the site. Sept. 21, 2007 We will not be playing at the 340 Roadhouse tonight, or any other gigs that were scheduled for the rest of the year. We got news yesterday that the club had been sold. We apologize for the inconvenience and the short notice. Make sure you check out the calendar, as I’m sure we’ll be at a club near you really soon. Sept. 7, 2007 I added new dates on the calendar. We’re now updated through the end of December. August 9, 2007 Remember, this Friday, Aug. 10, join us in Staunton at the Clock Tower Tavern. 2 new gigs were also added: Sept. 1st in Front Royal, VA for Dancin’ Downtown and Sept. 7th at Ned Devine’s in Centrevile. This is yet another new club for us. Sat. Aug 18th, is a dance at the Millwood Station. It is a smoke free dance (with a smoking patio) and it’s open to the public.
